With a continuing trend of miniaturising electronic systems and sub-systems forcing designers to increase circuit densities with smaller packages Spectrum Control have developed a range of Hi-Density D-Subminiature connectors.

The series 600 line of connectors incorporates the high performance and reliable filtering of Spectrum Control's Series 700 D-Subminiature connectors in the High Density format. 

Features on the connectors include:

• Designed to MIL-C-24308
• Capacitance values from 85pF to 4000pF
• Available in feed-thru capacitive configurations
• RoHS and Non-RoHS
• Selectively specify and filter each contact position
• Shell sizes of 15, 26, 44, 62 and 78 available
• Various contact/termination configurations
• Customer specific designs on request

Spectrum Control Rugged USB Connectors

Spectrum Control have released a new range of USB Connectors ideal for demanding applications in the military, communications, medical, industrial, and computing industries.

The new ruggedly constructed connector which features an enhanced design that meets MIL immersion and International Electromechanical Commission (IEC) seal requirements. Capable of connecting to USB 2.0 or 1.1 ports, the heavy-duty design of the USB connector is deal for demanding, high stress applications.

The right angled mount, Type A connector has a 1.5 Amps current rating along with a contact resistance up to 30mΩ. Additionally, this part meets the seal requirements of IEC-60529, Code IP67 on the PCB side, as well as immersion requirements per MIL-STD-810F, method 512.4 to 20 meters (unmated).
